DApps connectivity via WalletConnect now available

Today, Datachain Wallet has launched DApps connectivity via WalletConnect.

Key features

1. Connect to WalletConnect-compatible DApps
   You can connect Datachain Wallet to a wide range of DApps (decentralized applications) that support WalletConnect.
2. Transactions executed through your approval workflow
   Transactions on DApps are also executed through your pre-configured approval workflow. You can use DApps while maintaining your organization's internal approval rules.
3. Administrator control over DApps connectivity
   Administrators of Datachain Wallet can enable or disable the DApps connectivity feature, turning it on or off according to your organization's operational policy.
4. Gasless transaction execution
   Transactions performed on DApps (token approvals, swaps, liquidity provision, and more) can be executed without paying gas fees (network fees). There is no need to keep crypto assets for gas in your wallet.

What is WalletConnect?

WalletConnect is a mechanism for securely connecting wallets and DApps. You can connect simply by copying the connection URI shown on the DApp and pasting it into your wallet, and all communication is encrypted.

The key information required for signing is never passed to the DApp; transaction approval and signing always take place on the wallet side, so you can use DApps safely. It is one of the standard connection methods in Web3, adopted by many wallets and DApps.
